Rental Policies and Fees:

  1. Banquet seating for 80
  • 13 white tables (seat 8-10 people)
  • 100 white chairs

 

  1. Wedding only: seating for 200 on purple chairs.
  • Additional seating for 100 on white chairs.

 

  1. Wedding & Reception: seating for 200 on purple chairs.
  • Service for a banquet of 80

 

  1. Restrictions:
  1. Weddings: Dates are held only when deposit is paid.  Minimum of 1 week advance notice
  1. No rice, birdseed, confetti, or glitter may be used.
  2. No balloons or tape may be applied to walls.
  3. Helium-filled balloons MUST be securely anchored.
  4. No nails may be driven.
  5. No red punch; only clear punch may be served.
  6. No alcohol is permitted.
  7. All paper products and cutlery to be provided by customer.
  8. Candles must be dripless and carpet protected.
  9. No red, purple, or orange beverages.

 

  1. Weddings fees:
  1. Members: FREE + $50 deposit.
  1. Includes:
  • Minister’s fee- $100
  • Custodian- $50
  • Sound- $50
  • Deduct $100 if they provide their own minister.

 

  1. Non-members: $300 + $50 deposit.
  • Deduct $100 if they provide their own minister.

 

  1. Funeral Dinners:
  1. There is no fee to use the church for those who are members of Sonlight Church & Community Center.
  1. There is a $50 custodial fee for all other funerals.
  • Paper supplies and cutlery to be provided by customer unless they are members of Sonlight.

 

  1. Gym use (games, graduations, banquets)

 

  1. Gym: 4 hours:

Members (1 family unit) 2 free uses per year.

Non-members: $75 + $50 deposit (paid in advance).

 

  1. Gym: 8 hours:

Members: $50 deposit.

Non-members $150 + 50 deposit (paid in advance).

 

  1. Upper Room: 4 hours:

Members: $50 + $50 deposit

Non-members: $50 + $25 deposit (paid in advance).

 

Rooms/gym will be set up and cleaned by custodian and open prior to rental time.

          Rooms/gym must be left clean and ready for use.
