Pastors Doug & Sherry Cooper

  Doug & Sherry have been married for over forty years, with two adult children and six grandchildren.  They both grew up in California, meeting in college there.  Doug enjoys woodworking, reading, model trains, and researching genealogy.  Sherry enjoys gardening, baking, and antiquing.

  Doug has served in churches in both California and Ohio.  Through the years, he has ministered as: Youth Pastor, Christian Ed. Pastor, Administrative Pastor, Lead Pastor (2 churches), and Interim Pastor (4 churches).  Additionally, he has served as a police chaplain, trainer for Royal Rangers and CE teachers, and an instructor for ministerial credentials.  Doug holds an AA degree in Architecture, a BA in Religious Education, a MA in Practical Ministries, and a DMIN in Church Leadership.

  Over the years of ministry, Sherry has been active in Worship Ministry, teacher of preschool classes, visitation, director of Women's Ministry, coordinated funeral dinners, and church decoration.
